Local fiestas & events for summer 2022

After a break of 2 years it is great to see the much-loved traditional Spanish fiestas being held again across the Costa Blanca.

The Spanish love a fiesta, as do many expats who move to Spain. A ‘fiesta’ is traditionally a religious festival but the word is also used for any party or celebration.

There are lots of different fiestas held throughout the country all year round, but the biggest celebrations are through the summer months. Fiestas involve music, dancing, parades, traditional costumes, local cuisine, fireworks and much more.

We have put together below a list of the fiestas and events being held locally this summer. As more are announced we will add them to this blog post, so make sure you bookmark the page so you don’t miss out on the fun!
